Nigerians, Albanians, and Romanians have topped the list of countries that traffic s ex workers to the United Kingdom, the Home Office has revealed after 11 people were sentenced on Thursday for trafficking s ex workers.
According to a report by Thomson Reuters Foundation, up to 13,000 victims of modern slavery in Britain are forced to work in factories and farms, sold for s ex in brothels or kept in domestic servitude, among other forms of slavery, according to the Home Office (interior ministry). Most come from Albania, Nigeria and Romania.
