Ten members of the Adamawa state Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress,(APC) and thousands of others defected from the APC to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
While declaring their intension at the PDP's secretariat in Yola, on Tuesday, Rev Padio Phineas said their decision to leave the APC was informed by public interest to support the PDP and its governorship candidate in the state Mallam Nuhu Ribadu who is believed will transform the state.
Puadio, who is the Public Relations Officer of the APC in the state, explained that because Adamawa was in a dire need of development due to its presence deplorable stage, they have to put aside personal and primordial interests to support Ribadu candidature
